Get ready for one of the most intense shark diving experiences on the planet as you join Discover Sharks, Oceans Nation, and the Shark Explorers team aboard the 46ft liveaboard Great White in the Bahamas.
Diving here is unlike anything else. From Tiger Beach to Bimini, you’ll come face to face with tiger sharks, great hammerheads, lemon sharks and reef sharks moving through these sites.
Each day features multiple dives across different locations, with the itinerary shaped by weather, conditions, and wildlife activity to maximize encounters.
With just 8 guests onboard, the experience remains highly intimate, giving every diver more space, comfort, and time in the action.
Guided by one of the most experienced shark diving teams in the world, this is an incredible opportunity to observe and photograph these animals up close.

From your first dives in Bimini to your final days at Tiger Beach, here’s how the expedition flows.
Please note that the itinerary may vary depending on weather, sea conditions, and wildlife activity.
Arrival & Boarding
Welcome aboard
Arrive in Bimini and board the Great White.
Meet the crew, settle into your cabin, set up your dive gear, and prepare for the days ahead.
The evening is spent onboard as we get ready for the first dives the following morning.
Bimini Diving
Hammerheads and more
Spend three full days diving in Bimini, one of the best places in the world to encounter great hammerhead sharks.
Expect multiple dives per day with opportunities to see hammerheads, along with stingrays, Caribbean reef sharks, and occasional wreck or reef dives depending on conditions.
Between dives, relax onboard, review footage, recharge gear, and get ready for the next session.
On the afternoon of Day 4, we depart for Tiger Beach.

The final dive days are spent at Tiger Beach, one of the most iconic shark diving destinations on the planet.
Expect close encounters with tiger sharks, along with lemon sharks, Caribbean reef sharks, and more.
Clear, shallow water and extended bottom times make this one of the most consistent shark diving experiences worldwide.

Expedition Leader
Morne Hardenberg
Morne has worked with great white sharks since 1999 and is one of the world’s most experienced shark divers and filmmakers.
He has completed hundreds of uncaged dives with great white sharks across three locations worldwide and has featured in major productions for the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and Animal Planet.
In 2008, he received the Guild of Television Cameramen Award of Excellence for his work filming great white sharks in Sharkman.
Morne is also a qualified PADI Divemaster, commercial scientific diver, certified boat skipper, and medic first aid professional—bringing world-class expertise and safety to every expedition.

Questions?
Accommodation onboard in a shared cabin, all meals, snacks, soft drinks, dive tanks, weights, and all scheduled diving activities are included.
Flights, airport transfers, hotels before or after the trip (if needed), alcohol, crew gratuities, and rental gear are not included.
Alcohol is available onboard via a cash bar. For gear, only BCDs and regulators are available for rent onboard.
Wetsuits, fins, and masks can be rented locally.
You must be at least Open Water certified, with strong confidence in your diving ability, buoyancy, and equipment. Diving should feel natural and comfortable to you, especially in open ocean conditions.
All divers are required to use dark, low-contrast gear. This includes a black (or mostly black) full-length wetsuit or dive skin, black hood and gloves (required), black socks or booties, and dark-colored fins and BCD. Bright or highly visible colors are not permitted unless approved in advance.
Each diver should also use a dive computer, and we strongly recommend bringing spare batteries.
Valid dive insurance (DAN, PADI, or equivalent) is required. We also recommend travel insurance that covers trip interruptions, weather, and equipment.
Finally, please keep in mind that all wildlife encounters depend on natural conditions. While shark activity in these locations is highly consistent, sightings can never be guaranteed, and weather conditions may affect the schedule.
A $600 deposit is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due 120 days prior to departure.

Only BCDs and regulators are available for rent onboard. Wetsuits, fins, masks, and other personal gear are not provided.
As wetsuits are highly personal in fit, we recommend bringing your own or arranging rental through a local dive shop before traveling. If needed, we’re happy to help guests find suitable rental options before the trip.
Yes, when done properly. You’ll receive a full safety briefing before diving, and experienced crew members are always in the water managing divers, bait, and shark behavior. Following instructions is essential at all times.
Bimini → Freeport (Dec 5–12, 2026)
The trip begins in Bimini. Guests can fly into Bimini Airport (BIM), arrive via the North Bimini Seaplane Base, or take a ferry from Fort Lauderdale. Upon arrival, a short transfer will take you to the marina where boarding takes place.
The expedition ends in West End, Grand Bahama (Old Bahama Bay). Guests can depart via Freeport Airport (FPO), with a road transfer required from the marina.
Freeport → Bimini (Nov 27 – Dec 3, 2026)
The trip begins in West End, Grand Bahama (Old Bahama Bay). Guests should fly into Freeport Airport (FPO) and arrange a road transfer to the marina.
The expedition ends in Bimini. Guests can depart via Bimini Airport (BIM) or the North Bimini Seaplane Base.
The Great White features 4 en-suite double staterooms, accommodating a maximum of 8 guests onboard.
Unless a private cabin has been arranged, guests should expect to share a cabin with another participant. If you’re traveling with a friend or partner, we’ll do our best to place you together.
The vessel is fully equipped for comfort during the expedition, including air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and all the amenities needed for a comfortable liveaboard experience.
If you have specific cabin preferences, feel free to let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Tiger sharks, great hammerheads, lemon sharks, reef sharks, and nurse sharks are commonly seen. Other species may appear depending on conditions.
No. These are wild animals, and every encounter is different. That said, this is one of the most consistent places in the world for shark encounters.
