Booking Terms

Booking Terms, Conditions & Cancellation Policy

Please read these Booking Terms & Conditions carefully before booking. By making a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

These terms, together with the Trip Information and any additional conditions provided, form the entire agreement between you and us.

1. Booking & Contract

Your booking is confirmed once we issue a written confirmation and receive your deposit. At that point, a contract between you and us is established.

We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

2. Deposit

A deposit is required to secure your spot on the expedition.

  • For bookings made more than 180 days before departure, the deposit may be refundable upon request
  • For bookings made within 180 days of departure, the deposit is non-refundable

If your booking is made within the final payment window, full payment may be required at the time of booking.

3. Payment & Installments

The remaining balance must be paid in full by the final payment deadline, which varies depending on the expedition and is clearly stated on each trip and booking page:

  • 120 days before departure, or
  • 60 days before departure

We offer flexible installment payments as a convenience. You may pay the remaining balance in partial payments at any time, provided that the full amount is completed by the final payment deadline.

Failure to complete payment by the deadline may result in cancellation of your booking, and cancellation fees will apply.

4. Pricing & Inclusions

All prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise.

Your trip includes only the items listed under “Inclusions” on the trip page. Unless stated otherwise, the following are not included:

  • Flights
  • Travel insurance
  • Visas and documentation
  • Personal expenses and optional activities

Prices may vary based on demand, availability, or external factors prior to booking confirmation.

5. Cancellation by You

Cancellations must be made in writing and are effective upon receipt.

Due to the limited number of spots and the nature of expedition travel, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • Before the final payment deadline → Loss of deposit only
  • Between the final payment deadline and 60 days before departure → 50% of total trip price is non-refundable
  • Less than 60 days before departure → 100% non-refundable

Once the final payment deadline has passed, all payments become non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued for no-shows, unused services, or early departure.

6. Transfers & Changes

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your booking to another person. This is subject to approval and operational feasibility.

Administrative fees may apply.

7. Changes or Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, safety, or operational conditions.

If we cancel the expedition before departure, you will be offered:

  • A full refund, or
  • The option to transfer your booking to a future expedition

We are not responsible for additional expenses such as flights, accommodation, or other travel-related costs.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather conditions, or government restrictions.

In such cases, we may offer a credit or partial refund depending on recoverable costs.

9. Travel & Dive Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all expeditions and should cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and travel-related risks.

For any expedition involving diving activities, valid dive insurance is mandatory. This insurance must include coverage for:

  • Diving-related accidents and injuries
  • Emergency medical treatment
  • Evacuation and recompression chamber treatment

Participants may be required to provide proof of dive insurance prior to or upon arrival. Failure to provide valid coverage may result in being unable to participate in diving activities, without refund.

10. Health, Safety & Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring you are physically and medically fit to participate.

By booking, you acknowledge that marine and adventure travel involve inherent risks and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by guides and crew.

Failure to comply with safety guidelines or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the expedition without refund.

11. Third-Party Operators

Some expeditions are operated in collaboration with third-party providers. While we work with trusted partners, we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

12. Acceptance of Risk

You acknowledge that participation involves a degree of personal risk and accept responsibility for your decision to participate.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws of the operating entity.

14. Agreement

By completing your booking, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and understood these terms
  • Accept the cancellation policy
  • Agree to all conditions outlined above
